A few days ago on the occasion of the death of
Nelson Mandela was watching news and caught my attention that showed a group of
black people dancing. Journalist
says that people are not dancing for the death of Mandela but that they were
dancing and celebrating his life. For cinema lovers there's a similar quote
that appears in the film Brigade 49 (Ladder 49) where almost at the end of the
film is at the funeral of a firefighter and the Commander requested everyone to
applaud celebrating the life of the deceased firefighter.
Do not leave me attention paradigm about how change
is living death. The
traditional is to focus on the loss of the beloved person and in a vacuum that
usually stop at the closest. But many of
us repair in celebrate life? I was lucky enough to meet a couple of adults
older who have embodied this principle even though some of them are no longer
alive definitely are people who took the juice to life enjoying it to the
fullest. While it is undeniable that they leave a lack it is easy to meet to
remember their experiences and "nonsense". Several of them could
behave as a very serious person and the next minute be more immature than a
15-year-old boy.
The end of life is just one more step in
which we leave a memory that would endure in most beloved people are relatives
or friends. Therefore,
it is important to not let contact us with those who we care about exit play,
going to the cinema, talk to a beer or a coffee. In the end all these
activities end up being an excuse to achieve the ultimate goal which is to
relate as essentially social people, were not born to be alone.
In several of our cultures probably is not style
dance as dancing who held Mandela, but it is important that our way we will be
able to take advantage of our years from the beginning until we have to split. While there will be penalty is
important to focus on what is really important celebrate life as if we were a
child who is experiencing for the first time in the world.
