While the fourth commandment of God's law says 'Honor your father and mother', this is something that not all sons meet.
The reason why sons should have some obligation to the father or mother is, according to experts, gratitude.
"There is no legal responsibility, the duty would be moral, meaning that although the state does not make me answer for my parents, parental relationships create links that produce obligations or responsibilities," said Carlos Guillermo Mahecha Mountain, Psychologist specializing in Human Development.

'In a family where no daughters, men should generate what they can in order to provide welfare, but should look to their possibilities how to provide facilities to their parents.

-¿Should delegate functions among the sons? The only thing you can require an adult's responsibility in terms of family ties. Among the family we must protect and care. Can you teach sons to care for their parents? No, this is part of the will of the person. It is very difficult to teach such things, if not born me attend to my parents about their needs or company. It is something that is built from childhood; if my dad gave me affection, love and protection, that determines personality agents me I will return affective and corresponderé in adulthood.

How to ensure that there is a reciprocity of affection, companionship and protection with parents?should not necessarily be reciprocity because often there ingratitude in humans and applies for different bonding. The main thing is to give sons love since childhood, that based training bases and personality as an adult, while exercising authority. Having sons does not guarantee that you will be accompanied in old age.

How to prevent sons abandon their parents? One way to avoid is strengthening ties since childhood, also holding a constant dialogue between the family. There are people who leave the house and shed all feelings to their parents.

Is there justification that the sons do not attend their parents?
In some cases if. When the family is dysfunctional, there are people who should never have children, because they have no emotional attachment (...) do not have this condition to take on that responsibility, they can not claim that when the child is an adult have some commitment to them.

MI HIJ@ VUELVE A CASA.

  1. 1
Escucha a tu hijo y sé comprensivo. Sé abierto y no seas prejuicioso
  2. 2

Incluye objetivos a largo plazo, metas a corto plazo y fechas tope.
