The bad combination of diabetes and stress.
Stress is a natural physical and mental reaction caused to face the danger. If there is any threat, real or imaginary, the body immediately stops performing some functions to prioritize others. Those changes are what damages our body and that is why we feel so bad when we are stressed.
The body is affected by stress, because it does not allow you to analyze things, causing us to have harmful habits like smoking, taking or feeding us incorrectly. The mind is filled with negative emotions, worries, anxiety and fear. If someone suffers for a long time of stress they will have problems with their immune, digestive, renal and reproductive systems, besides suffering depression.

Dr. Richard Hellman, warns that on many occasions the increase in sugar levels in diabetics is not related to food, there are other factors that can disrupt the body, such as stress.
Stress is really dangerous for diabetics as it will begin to increase blood glucose levels. In those cases you will need more insulin and more medications to control the sugar in your body. Something similar happens in reverse, if someone starts to calm down you will need less insulin, as your blood sugar levels will go down.
